African Culture And Disability: We Are Not Chaning For You, You Will Have To Change For Us!

Africa my root, Africa my motherland, Oooh Africa! You don’t think people who have challenges should exist? Long gone are the days where "disabled "people were treated like trash or left in the forest to die. How many people living with disabilities still experience the same treatment in this era? Maybe we go through the same treatment but indirectly or silently. How?  Let me spit it out. When I am walking with my unique walking style, And the society “woishes” me That is ill treatment and it sucks, When l wheel myself, And you stare at me like am from another planet, It stabs my heart deep and cuts it into pieces. Gone and l repeat Gone! are the days where Africa and its cultures saw disability as a curse. People with Disabilities existed they are still existing and they will exist for we are here to STAY! #AmputeeLifeRocks. Jackie Cheche ®
